Cancellation Policy
Reservations are honored for up to two hours after the scheduled pick-up time. We ask that you contact our Reservation Center at (888) 587-7368 if you need to change the pick-up time.
A 14 day notice of cancellation is required or you are subject to a one day charge.
Fuel Purchase Plan
The rate you pay for your rental vehicle does not include the cost for fuel. There are two fuel options available to you.
Option One:
You can return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel that you received it. If you do not fill the gas tank upon returning the vehicle, you will pay Mayfair Rent-A-Car for refueling the vehicle to the original level.
Option Two:
You can pay Mayfair Rent-A-Car at the start of your rental period for a full tank of fuel consistent with local station pricing and return the vehicle with an empty tank of fuel. No credits will be given for any remaining fuel.
Parking Tickets
The renter is responsible for paying for any and all parking tickets received while the vehicle is rented.
Cash and Debit Card Rentals
Cash and Debit Card rental must meet the following requirements:
*Valid Wisconsin driver's license
*Utility bill from within the last 2 - 4 weeks. It must have the same name and address as the driver's license.
*Payroll stub from within the last 2 - 4 weeks. It must have the same name and address as the driver's license.
*The entire cost of the rental plus an additional $250 deposit must be paid at the time of rental.
*Proof of insurance must be given prior to the time of pick-up so that it can be verified.
Additional Drivers
Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the renter. A surcharge of $10.00 per day per driver applies.
Additional drivers must complete the Addendum to Rental Agreement Form and have their valid driver's license at the time of rental. No additional drivers may be added to a contract over the telephone. Photo copies or fax copies of the driver's license will not be accepted.
Renter Responsibilities
Renters are responsible for all damages to the rental vehicle and any third party claims for liability.
Renters are responsible for returning the vehicle at the designated date and time shown on the rental agreement. If an extension is needed, the renter is responsible to contact Mayfair Rent-A-Car and to pay all necessary additional deposits.
It is the renter's responsibility to understand what they are initaling and signing on the rental agreement; this includes any additional charges that may pertain to the rental. Our rental agents are trained to explain the agreement prior to the customer initaling and signing.
Extensions of Rental
At the time of pick-up, you will be asked the expected return date and time. Only the renter is allowed to extend the rental agreement.
If you choose to extend the agreement, additional funds must be available on your credit or debit card. If additional funds are not available or a payment cannot be made, a request for extension will be denied and the vehicle must be returned on the original return date and time. In order to extend the rental period, cash renters must make an additional payment for deposit at the branch the vehicle was rented.
Rental Agreement Violations
Rental Agreement violations include, but are not limited to:
1. Driving under the influence of intoxicants.
2. Operation of the vehicle by an unauthorized driver.
3. Failure to return the vehicle by the due-back date and time.
4. Failure to pay all charges at the time of return.
Clean-Up Fee Notice
We offer current model vehicles that have been cleaned and serviced for your driving convenience. We ask that you return this vehicle in the same condition that you received it. Vehicles returned excessively dirty may be subject to a minimum $75.00 clean-up fee.
Smoking and pets are not allowed in our rental vehicles.
Two Day Minimum Charge
There is a two day minimum charge on all specialty vehicles over the weekends. The two day minimum may be enforced on other dates as it becomes necessary.
Age Requirements
Minimum Age: 21
Age 21 to 22 - $10/day surcharge applies.
All renters and additional drivers that are 21 or 22 years old are subject to an Underage Surcharge.
All rental vehicles are allowed to travel within the United States and Canada. They are prohibited from going to Mexico.
Cash deposits are accepted.

Mayfair Rent-A-Car accepts the following methods of payment:

The rental company agrees to waive its right to collect from the Renter for damage or loss related to the rental vehicle (because of an auto accident) as long as the terms and conditions of the contract are not violated. This product is not insurance.
Supplemental Liability Insurance
11.95 per day
Protects the renter against claims made by a third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while the Renter is operating the rental vehicle.
Personal Accident Coverage
6.95 per day
Personal Accident Coverage: Provides accidental death and accident medical expense benefit for the Renter and their passenger(s). Coverage is provided for the Renter during the coverage period. Coverage is provided for the passenger while within the rental vehicle only. The death benefit and medical expense benefit will both pay in addition to any other coverage that might be applicable to the Renter or passenger.
Personal Property Coverage: Protects against damage to personal effects owned by the Renter, as well as immediate family members of the Renter, who permanently reside in the Renter's household and are traveling with the Renter.
Global Positioning System (GPS)
